Mark has travelled the world extensively lecturing and demonstrating to thousands of farriers. Recently receiving his PhD from the University of Liverpool, mark continues to travel, delivering the science of horseshoeing to the world. This 'Thorough the eyes' series of videos captures Mark's insight into horseshoeing, breaking down his entire process with detailed explaination and quizzes to test you learning.

Mark Caldwell

PhD FWCF - Lecturer

Fellow of the Worshipful Company of Farriers, awarded a PhD of University of Liverpool in 2017, hall of fame farrier since 2015, former England horseshoeing team member, former WCF judge and examiner and international lecturer and clinician, travelling extensively across USA, Europe and Australasia. Former senior lecturer at the School of Farriery science and was responsible for originating and validating the worlds first Bsc ( Honours) degree program. Mark remains active in the research of farriery related issues. We are extremely pleased to have him as part of the team here at eFarriery Education.
